City Commissioner Jacqueline “Jack” Porter Endorses David O’Keefe for Leon County Commission District 5
TALLAHASSEE, FL — David O’Keefe, Candidate for County Commissioner District Five, has received the endorsement of City Commissioner Jacqueline “Jack” Porter in the race to replace Kristin Dozier on the Leon County Commission.
Commissioner Porter swept into office in 2020 after defeating an incumbent outright int he August primary election. She has been leading the charge to bring transparency to Blueprint and the Office of Economic Development, and fighting for the voice of the people in our local government. In a statement she said:
“David O’Keefe will stand up for our values, like he did when he joined me and the vast majority of Tallahassee in saying No to the reckless Doak stadium giveaway.
David is an experienced, principled candidate who I know will be a strong voice for real reform at Blueprint and on the County Commission.”
“I am humbled to be endorsed by City Commissioner Porter, and by some of the most trusted former leaders in Cliff Thaell and Debbie Lighstey. Just like them, the people of Tallahassee know that business-as-usual politics is not working for Leon County.” said O’Keefe.
Between now and August 23rd, our grassroots campaign will be busy talking to voters to let them know that we can and will do better using our resources to put people first and enrich our community.
